PARIS (2010 FIBA World Championship for Women) – France coach Pierre Vincent is finally getting his biggest, and brightest star back in the national squad with the FIBA World Championship tipping off in just over two weeks.

Center Sandrine Gruda, who has been playing in the WNBA, will link up with France ahead of a warm-up tournament in Lugo, Spain.

Gruda was a member of the all-tournament team at the EuroBasket Women in Latvia after leading her country to the gold medal.

The French will take on Belarus, Greece and the Spaniards in Spain.

France will play against the United States, Greece and Senegal in Group B of the FIBA World Championship for Women in Ostrava.

Vincent has called 15 players for the tournament:

France squad for Lugo event: Marielle Amant, Clemence Beikes, Jennifer Digbeu, Celine Dumerc, Elodie Godin, Emilie Gomis, Johanne Gomis, Sandrine Gruda, Pauline Jannault, Marion Laborde, Anael Lardy, Florence Lepron, Endene Miyem, Emmeline Ndongue and Yacine Sene.
